CHAR 17 FINISH

The solventborne sealing topcoat CHAR 17 FINISH will be applied to protect the intumescent layer of CHAR 17 from moisture and the environment.
Overcoating of CHAR 17 with CHAR 17 FINISH sealing topcoat is always recommended to ensure durability. It is absolutely necessary in the presence of high moisture and advised in any case to avoid surface stickiness, dirt pick-up and fingerprints.
The CHAR 17 system require specialist's attention to application timing and environmental conditions during application and drying.
The use of CHAR 17 system is not advised outdoors.
