LIGNICOAT aims to demonstrate technical and economic feasibility of the use of lignin as raw material to produce of bio-resins (PUD, alkyd, epoxy) for different applications in the field of functional, sustainable coatings. Several lignin intermediates (Polyols, Epoxies, phosphorylated, polyacids and carbonates) will be examined and their techno-economic and environmental benefits will be assessed.
